A Soldier Remembered

This bronze statute entitled, ‘The Spirit of 98’ by Frank L. Jirouch, stands guard at the west entrance to the Ohio Statehouse. The statute honors Ohio veterans from the Spanish-American War, Philippine Insurrection and the China Relief Expedition.
